The company added that soon it will start testing a new feature within the WhatsApp Business app where small businesses will have the option to send personalized messages to their customers - such as appointment reminders, birthday greetings or even updates on a holiday sale - in a faster and more efficient way. When people will click on an ad, it will open a chat on WhatsApp so they can ask questions, browse products and buy them. No Facebook account will be required and businesses would only need an email address and a form of payment to get started. The company noted that it will make it possible for the small businesses which run their entire operation on WhatsApp to create, buy and publish a Facebook or Instagram ad directly within the WhatsApp Business app.
